At AEP, we take climate change seriously. In fact, we are a leader in deploying
technology to capture and safely store carbon dioxide from our coal-fired power
plants. But that technology is in its infancy. We believe that climate change
legislation should include emissions targets and timelines that match the advance
of technology. That’s the best way to achieve our climate goals and protect our
customers.
